My Financial Services career started in 1988 and I have since built up over 25 years of experience across a range of roles with a large high street bank with my most recent role being as a Personal Financial Adviser in the local area.
In October 2012 I was delighted to be invited to join St. James's Place Wealth Management as an Associate Partner Practice, a company that I had admired for some time. I feel that running my own practice will allow me to offer a more personalised service to my clients and devote my time to meeting clients’ needs in a world where financial planning needs are constantly changing. I see the on-going review service that I offer as being crucial to ensure that clients goals and needs are addressed as appropriate, particularly in the current climate where many clients existing advisers may no longer offer face to face advice.
To maintain high standards of knowledge and professionalism I am a member of the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute and I have acquired the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning required to continue providing advice following the recent Retail Distribution Review (RDR) carried out by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Outside work I am a husband to Tracey who runs her own Equestrian Centre where you can often see me helping out in my spare time. I am a massive sports fan, being a season ticket holder at Ipswich Town and a member of my local golf club in Fornham St Martin. I also have an eclectic taste in music and try to attend as many concerts as I can, often baffling my wife with bands that she has never heard of.
